So I am finally writing...

So I am finally writing my first post! I've been meaning to write this for a while but everything has been so hectic since I came home from Ursinus, between unpacking everything I brought home from school, preparing for Christmas at at my house, and running around trying to get everything ready for Mexico this break went by so fast. I can't believe that it is already New Year's Eve and that I will be leaving for the Barn in only two days. I am really excited for Mexico, its going to be a great experience. One of the things that I think will be so great about this semester is that will be get to experience so many different features of Mexico, both living in the city and exploring the historical sites and field sites we will be traveling to. I am finally almost done packing, but it seems that every time I think I am close to done, I realize that there is something else should get that I forgot about. Needless to say, I can't wait to finally be done with the whole packing thing. Today I am just going to run a few last errands and then alot of my family is coming over for dinner tonight to see me before I leave. I am really excited about seeing everyone but know that it will be sad saying goodbye to everyone all at once. I know that I will miss my family and all of my friends while I am away. I've never been this far away for this long before, but I still can't wait and am filled with anticipation when I think about how close we are to finally going. See everyone in the Barn in a few days!
